Joe and I happened to pick gabe up at the same time from preschool yesterday and knew we were in trouble when we were greeted at the door by his teacher saying "oh good, i'm glad you both are around to hear about today"... turns out gabe decided to be very environmental by saving water from flushing the toilet and went pee outside on the playground. Another mom and I have often wondered if the kids peed outside regularly behind the bushes on the edge of the play area, but gabe wasn't that discreet this time, it was the tree smack in the middle of everything. It didn't help that gabe proudly told his teacher that he can go pee outside at home and we were encouraged to talk about rules at home vs. rules at school. we knew the outdoor potty training from last summer would come back to haunt us (but at least he's just peeing on the trees!)
