We just had a fabulous and festive night with some new friends in San Diego and wanted to share a few pics. We heard rumors about a couple who opens their house each year, dresses up like Santa and Mrs. Claus, and hands out hot cocoa and cookies to all the kids. That sounded like a fun thing to do so we were off to find these generous neighbors. Well, these people pulled out all the stops - we truly had not seen anything like it, much much better than any retail place could have ever pulled off. Imagine a tunnel of lights over the driveway, a yard with all the holiday inflatibles you could imagine, Santa and Mrs. Claus in a sleigh in the driveway for the kids to talk to, a free toy for each child, an open house with AMAZING christmas decorations, and then a patio with lots of chairs and tables with hot cocoa (even marshmellows!) and cookies.
Gabe and our new friend, JT, waited patiently to meet Santa.
We all had a very fun and very festive night. Makena was very fond of the candy cane!
This is Gabe's favorite photo pose - what a ham!
Makena LOVED looking at all the lights and people.
